Yes you need to build the box. A sheet of 3/4" or 1" MDF, a table saw, a sabersaw, and probably a router. Check out the URL below and the ACI site. Cabinet drawings at both for two different designs. You need some basic woodworking skills. Tablesaw (or having the lumberyard cut) is a must.
