I've purchased an Energy ES-18XL, an 18" subwoofer. I paid only $1175.00 through Yawa Audio/Video (626)350-8036 an authorized Energy dealer. I think this sub performs better than the Velodyne 18". The ES18XL weighs over 150 pounds and is rated "AA" by Stereophile Guide to HT. Check out this sub, I think it's great.
