The're too small to reproduce midrange???? Have you heard the Take 5? Stereophile rated them borderline class A, only becuase they didn't come with a subwoofer. When you pair the Take 5 with the ES-10 subwoofer ($650.00 from Yawa Audio 626-350-8036), this inexpensive speaker system is fantastic! I purchased the Take 5 for my bedroom with two ES-10 subwoofers and it rivals the $9,000.00 speakers in my living room for Home Theater.
