Take them both for a ride, but I'll bet you'll keep the REL. You might want to try the Q100 which has a different flavour if the Storm doesn't suit your tastes/acoustics.

I was very underwhelmed by the M&K, I don't think I listened to the THX version - I think it was a V-100 or V-125 but no THX logos. Admittedly, I didn't even bother to take it home, so don't let me talk you out of it.

My second choice was the Sunfire True Subwoofer, Mark II. It was very close but I had to sit it further into the room (than the REL Strata II which I bought), it was more expensive, and I didn't think it was as quick for music. Give it a listen, too.
