Very Interesting, I too would like to do this as I have a spare channel on one of my Crowns. Where did you get these dimensions? I would be interested to know. About the dimensions, you didn't mention which ones are height, width and depth. I'm assuming 44.25" deep because of the 30" tube. Also does the speaker fire forward?
