I would be careful about Tom Nousaine reviews also. He seems to value how many SPL's a sub can crank out as the most important factor. He does not seem to write as much about sound quality, appearance, matching with you mains and the like. Lets take the example of the HSU's Vs the Titan. The HSU's is a cardboard tube while the Titan is a solid well finished piece of furniture. There are many ways to look at a sub.
