No, I haven't personally demoed the Titan as it only available factory direct. I have heard the Paradigm PW-2200 and was impressed considering its cost.
Low bass shouldn't be judged like the higher frequencies. 105 dB@20 Hz<10% distortion tells me mostly all I need to know. Subs are very sensitive to crossover setting, levels, and placement. A sub should live up to its title and deliver it LOW, LOUD, AND CLEAN. That's its job.
I can see that you're not going to agree and justify your Titans anyway. I'm not buying them.
Read Nousaine's review(Stereo Review 4/98). I base my sub decisions on facts, not opinions.
