Ok, so using A 25HZ/105dB goal...it would ONLY take...16? *titans* to hit that?

Obviously, if you're depending upon a *titan* to reproduce DVD *reference* level audio...you simply not hearing a lot of the bass you're supposed to.

And if you're setting your speakers to small/40hz and redirecting the rest of the bass to the main subwoofer, than you're not really using the *titans* as true subwoofers....though keeping them above 40hz would seem to play into their performance abilities better anyway.

>>>My Titans are hooked into my L/R channels to take advantage of Lexicon's Bass Enchance feature.<<<

How do you have the overs configured? What are your overall impressions of the bass-enhancement functions?

>>>I've measured higher output from my Titans then what you are quoting. I've gotten them into the mid-high 90s before the limiters kick in down low. Measured with an Audio Control 3050 RTA.<<<

I'm quoting the data collected by TOM NOUSAINE. He uses a 10% THD limit, corner loads the unit, and measures max. SPL(upto 10% thd) at 1/3 octave spacing using a 2m mic distance.

For the *titan*, he found max. 25hz output was 80dB. The *titan;s* driver only has like 7.5mm of xmax...so it's not going to move much air. What test procedures are you using to measure the SPL?
