Have these figures been verified by an independent reviewer? The only objective data I've seen on the Contra is from the recent WSR piece...HARDESTY maxxed the CONTRA out at 112dB/16hz---using a 3m mic distance, with a corner loaded unit.

While wonderful performance, this hardly extrapolates to 114dB/16hz/freeair.
