I said...

::: Yes, and using a 10%thd limit, it provides a whopping 80dBs at 25hz.(2m/corner loaded). So....putting this feeble performance in perspective for everyone....it would take....about 60(sixty) titans to reach reference level DD/DTS film levels in a typical room.:::

Stuart sez...

:::THX reference level for a Dolby Digital movie's LFE is 115dB, so if you consider that each additional driver, receiving the same signal increases total SPL by 3dB, it would take just over 11 additional drivers based on your 80dB figure. Your calculations are a little off base.:::

Uh,...no.

For every doubleing of the driver/amp...you gain(approx) 6dB(in theory).

1=80
2=86
4=92
8=98
16=104
32=110
64=116.

Of course this assumes all corner loaded units, with optimal coupleing effect...impossibilities in the real world....so you'd probably need over a hundred titans in reality.
