:As far as TN's review of the Titan, I was very disappointed when I read that. One of the questions that it left in my mind was that of "durration". A lot of deep bass in music is of a transient nature.: John , could you explian(in detail) how a subwoofer could be capable of reproducing (for example) 25hz cleanly/loudly for a short period of time, but NOT over several seconds of duration?
To reach a given freq/SPL, the driver HAS to move a given amount of air...to move that amount of air, the driver HAS to be able to maintain linear excursion...correct? If the titan cannot maintain linear excursion for several seconds....how can it reporduce 25hz loudly for short durations with an xmax of just over 7mm? This seems to defy the laws of physics...but I'm not well versed on this theory, thanks!. TV
