Speaker-level vs Line-level sub connections??????

Using Mozilla/3.01-C-MACOS8 (Macintosh; I; PPC):

Not necessarily, he could use an external crossover between the Lex side outputs and amp, routing short RCA cables to amp and long to sub, as I said.
