Speaker-level vs Line-level sub connections??????

Lexicon warns against doing this with bass enhance on, as it will route enormous amounts of LF, far more than the Tripoes are designed to handle. Philip, Sorry, but I should have mentioned that the 350 sub speaker-level output has what Pinnacle calls a "Satellite Speaker Crossover: First Order @ 80 Hz." So as I see it that 80 Hz crossover should shield my Tripoles from any bass enhancement the MC-1 might throw my way. Do you think I would be safe? Speaker-level smallish subs seem to be out of favor with many sub makers (M&K and Sunfire included) so I was pleased to stumble onto the Pinnacle, which got very good reports in both Stereophile Guide to Home Theater last September and Widescreen Review. I've tried bass enhance with some Mirage speakers that I have, but they're just too big for sides so I switched them to the rears. With the 350s (15-inch cubes)to the sides I can keep the excellent (but limited to 80 Hz) Tripoles.
