Speaker-level vs Line-level sub connections??????

Using Mozilla/3.01-C-MACOS8 (Macintosh; I; PPC):

With this entirely high-level configuration, aren't you wasting the two amp channels since its not powering the sub? And you're powering the tripoles with the Pinnacle amp, which is also huffing and puffing to drive the woofer driver. This is why so many sub designers have scrapped high level speaker connections. It may work, but I think you'd probably get better performance powering the tripoles separately.
