My parents have a pair of MG-12's in their rather sizeable living room (20' by 30' with 22' high cathedral ceiling) driven by a 110 wpc (front) Marantz receiver (SR-880 Mark II). They have even less bass extension than the MMG's, but they sound good nonetheless, and fill the room nicely.

My speakers are MG1.6's, driven by a pair of Marantz MA-500 amps in a 20' by 10' room, and they fill the entire house with sound easily. I have yet to drive the amps to clipping in spite of listening at high volumes.
