The first thing you've got to know is that all of these speakers are FANTASTIC!!! I'd rate them #1 Hales Trans. Ones, #2 PSB Stratus Bronze, #3 Monitor Audio Silver 9's, and #4 Sonus Faber Concertos. The Hales are very articulate, really disappear - soundstaging, and are tonally accurate. The PSB Bronze is a very close second being a very slight bit rougher in the highs, slower in the mids / lows, and just a slight bit less soundstage. The Monitor 9's are a little more polite in the highs, very solid in the lows, but don't soundstage as well as the Hales / PSBs. The Concertos are the politest of all but just lacked the accuracy I feel that the others had. Of course, take all of this with a grain of salt due to everyone having different tastes in what they listen for and of course different rooms with different sonical characteristics. You really need to do the listening for yourself and in the room you're going to be listening to them in. Good luck!
