"Better" is a subjective measure. The ScanSpeak stuff is more expensive and should be "better". You may want to think about your electronics, room size, floorspace etc. Reviewers here and elsewhere suggest the Sapphire will reveal any deficiencies in source material. I would expect the Jaguars to be much the same. Even ACI suggests the Sapphire is about 98% of the Jag in clarity but doesn't reach quite as low.

IMHO, you won't go wrong with ACI. I've heard the Emeralds, the MC1's and the Spirits. All were fine values.
