paradigm subwoofer umm noise

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98; DigExt):

I have a problem with a paradigm subwoofer... Sometimes for no reason the sub just start doing a kind of ummm noise. This happens even if I'm not listening to anything (no sound - but the sub power on). In my basement there are some installation of a am radio station (the radio station transmitter). My radio technician installed some capacitor in different input/output on the system but with no results.. I don't know anything about electronic so I really need advices...
