I own reQuests and the Logos (L/R/C), and found the reQuests were substantially better at resolving midrange and high freq detail than the SL3.

I question your need to have the same speakers; if it was me, I would opt for the SL3s in front, and Aerius elsewhere. What you really need is similar tonal balance, not the identical speakers.

As for the comments re e-stats, I've noticed no issues re high frequencies, in fact the opposite. As to off-axis response, that is typically true for flat-panel e-stats. The whole point of Martin-Logan's patented curvilinear panel is to enhance off-axis response. In my listening room, the off-axis response and imaging is indistinguishable from traditional box speakers, and perhaps slightly better.

Go for it -- you'll never look back.
