I agree 100% with what you say Tim. This forum and the others for that matter, are filled with questions that start with...“what's the best for the money” or “what's the difference between...”

Reminds me of sheep getting ready for the slaughter. Someone is wanting someone else to tell him or her what to do and always in the search of the elusive “Best Whatever”. I just saw speaker wire listed on the web..."XLO Type 5 $980 / 8 FT PAIR". What's the story here...the $500 per 8-Ft pair was too inferior? Only the slaughter is to someone's wallet. When the sheep believe that one can tell the sound difference between $500 and $980 speaker wire, someone makes a lot of money. The cables/wire on the Space Shuttle probably don't cost that much.

I agree Tim, the enjoyment of the end product, be it music or a movie, is sometimes lost in the "audiophile" process.
