What kind of test equipment for Bass?

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; AOL 4.0; Windows 98):

Is there an affordable good quality RTA available? What brands, models, etc are people using to calibrate their sytems? I understand that the RS spl meter is unreliable at below 50 HZ.
