Acoustic Image -- White Van Speakers!

Using Mozilla/3.01Gold (Macintosh; I; 68K):

First, wondering if anyone has experience with these speakers. They are under-handed "white van/closeout!" speakers... I paid $50 for the pair of what they call 6.5 mini tower speakers.

I've had them now for about a year, and they're 100% perfect. The only bad part is that they're 6ohm speakers, so you've gotta have an amp that lets you run 6ohm speakers. I'm pushing them with a 200w Kenwood amp, and I've got a 100w 10" sub connected to it, and the sound is wonderful.

I took the speakers apart to see if there were any bricks or something in them (they're heavy)... and the speakers have very heavy magnents, and the tweeter is indeed a titanium 25mm tweeter. Alone, they lack the big bass response, but add a sub and you're there.

Anyone else have experience with these things?
