polk setup

Using Mozilla/3.0Gold (Win95; I):

I am just about to purchase a home theatre system and was thinking of going with the polk Rt 1000s,cs 400 centre channel,f/x 500s for rears and a m&k v125 sub. Could any one suggest whether this will sound great or if i should consider another setup.different sub perhaps?and or the Rt 55s instead of the 1000s.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
