ligth on on powed speakers

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 95):

I have a new pair of Paradigms 90P powered speakers, and normally the control lights in the front are on only when the system is on and signal getting to the speakers. What has been happening lately is that after turning the system off the lights are still on the next morning, 8 hours later. Sometimes when you turn system on, and off they will go off after a few minutes, but somes they stay on forever.
Any ideas of what might be causing this, is this a begining of something bad.
If anyone has experienced similar problems,or knows any solutions, your imput is appreciated.
