yet another HT newbie (low budget)

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 95):

Hi, you sound like a friendly and knowledgeable bunch, so I thought I'd post my request, since I haven't read a similar post ie low budget. anyway... We're buying a house (woohoo) and I'd like to assemble a small home theatre in the basement. It's only about 600 sqft. My budget is only around 400 dollars for the whole package (meaning rec, sub, cen, frnt and rear) So I'm probably stuck with a hometheatre in a box kind of thing. It will be used for mainly VHS movies, since we'll no longer be able to afford the theaters for awhile :( hiss) Any help you could give me is welcome.
