Polk Audio dealer

They have the 1000p for $500 each and the CS300 for $300. The f/x500 is due to be in stock soon. The cost will be approx. $500 for the pair (as CC runs a bit under Polk's MSRP.) BTW, the RT25 is a good rear speaker for a lot less ($125 each). The best thing about buying at CC is their one-year speaker trade-up. Within one year of purchase, you can bring back the 1000p's & CS300 and receive a full credit toward 2000p's and the CS400 (or any other speakers of greater value.) Also IMO, if you don't already have a subwoofer, you may want to consider stepping down to RT55's for the fronts, and using the $450 difference toward a sub. The powered bass speakers in the 1000p's cannot match the punch of a decent powered sub. (CC sells the Polk PSW150 for $399 and a Velodyne CT120 for $529, but shop around as subs cannot be traded-up.) Many people, including myself, feel the RT55, at $275, is the bargain of the RT line, since it's essentially the top half of their flagship RT3000p loudspeaker that retails for $1800! Though not as intimidating visually, they look extremely good up front when on stands. However, they definately require the aid of a sub, as they are only rated down to 47 Hz ± 3dB. Good luck with whatever you choose. --Jeff
