Speaker break-in question?

That'll depend on the loudspeakers in question and whether or not you believe there is such a thing as "break-in". Chris' message is a good one - although perhaps a case could be made for the break-in of loudspeakers with a wide range of cone excursion.

You're having the loudspeakers broken-in for you? Usually one does the "breaking-in" oneself simply by playing the 'speakers constantly for a few days. Some folks use inter-station FM noise for this, others place the loudspeakers face-to-face and loop a test CD (placing them face-to-face cuts down on the noise).
