I like the RT800 and RT55 with sub over the RT1000p, or the jump to the RT2000p.

You will get better imaging and a more convincing soundstage. The RT1000p is a fine speaker. My friend loves his and fits his application perfectly. They just lack the punch I was looking for. Try CC or the Good Guys for Polks. I also have a local hi-fi dealer where I got a great deal on my Polks. There are some discount Polks online but they have limited models and stock. Most online dealers that carry the complete line are about the same price as the previously mentioned electronic stores.
