Need Help with a Sub Localization Problem
Posted by Jeff Morales [IP: 153.36.233.208] on March 07, 1999 at 19:28:42 In Reply to: Need Help with a Sub Localization Problem posted by Bobio on February 24, 1999 at 09:07:46: Bobio is right. I noticed when I have my sub on too loud, I can localize it. However, your problem may be also due to room placement. When you have it too close to the corner, the bass comes out of that corner. Try moving the sub away from the corner. Try also putting the sub in the seat where you like to watch movies and move around the room to find a place where the bass sounds the most non-directional and non-boomy. You will find that in the corner isnt necessarily the best place for the sub, and you will immediately notice a difference. -Jeff
