I cannot help but wonder what kinds of considerations must have gone into your determination that the DC-1 is "junk". I really don't think the issue is one of disagreeing with your opinion but rather the level at which it is expressed. Aside from your in-depth analysis of the piece, I would imagine that I am not alone in wondering what your motivation
could possibly be to go to the trouble of posting it on a forum comprised principally of DC-1 owners who continue, for the most part, to be pleased with their choice. I am not suggesting that all of the participants on this forum feel that the DC-1 is perfect- at the rate of technological change today nothing is perfect for longer than it takes to conceive of the idea if that long. As far as equipment reviews in general, I have learned to not rely on magazine reviews of pieces as being objective and accurate - but at least there is an attempt in these reviews to rationalize and make some sense of the opinions expressed. What does continue to mean something
