Changing DC1 for AVP

My thoughts are you changing for change sake or are you disatisfied with your DC1? you didn't say so its hard to say anything.
What is the rest of the system?
But before considering changing ask yourself, what am I disatisfied with? What am I going to gain?
From a finacal point of veiw how much is this going to cost?
If I didn't change and what else in the system could I earmark this new money for?
A better set of Amps? a hot DVD player?
Better screen? pehaps add some more and get a projector? Speakers may add some zipp.
You never said why, but could you just have a case of Audio Neurosis? we all get it now and again.
The grass is no always better on the other side you could be trading on set of problems for another.

What do you think you will gain by changing?

Before you change, make sure you get first hand extended listing time with the new unit perferably a home loan from a good dealer

And remember the DC1 strenghts its abilites to make a Plain vanilla DPL source and with logic 7 turn it into something really specail

Its music modes and I could go on but the ultimate decision is yours and your wallet.
But if I where you I would have to look long and hard.........
