II suggest you consider the Panasonic A110 DVD Player which can be bought on www.netmarket.com for $319.00 plus $12.95 for shipping and handling. You do need to become a "mamber" to purchase at this price but it is a real bargain. This is a third generation unit with all the latest features including DTS output etc. John Marks of Absolute Sound referred to this unit as the best sounding CD player under $1000.
Normal street price is $400.
