I think with your last post you made more of a justification for you anger. I think I would be annoyed too but perhaps if we got behind them (the companies) and let them know what's wrong via magazines, direct correspondence, email and snail mail, then they may listen up. After all, we are the customers and if we the customers are not listened to we will tell our friends to buy elsewhere
as we have had bad experiences.

But I still see no reason to write off the whole industry just yet. In Britain there are 60 million people, in the States there are 260 million people. To sell stuff to a bigger market dictates different attitudes, more competition, better presentation. Although B&W are pretty slick I got the impretion that REL were a cottage/garage based outfit who lovingly prepared each unit with a bit of love.

If this is their first attempt at mass market then maybe next time they may get it right.

I don't think you were singling out anyone. If you have had a bad experience with something you are entitled to complain a bit, it's human nature, we all do it, it keeps us sane.
