Best universal remote to use w/DC-1?

I am currently using a Rotel RR990 remote, but I don't really like it because the buttons are not intuitive. You have to remember which buttons do what, because they are not always labeled with the right description for what you are controlling.

My dealer made an even trade with me for a new Theater Master SL-9000. However, after getting it home I found one drawback I didn't want to deal with. The device selection and the input selection for the preamp is combined into a single button for each device to be controlled. For example, selecting the TV button selects the TV input to the preamp and also selects the TV controls. With the DC-1 this is a problem for me, because sometimes I, and especially my wife, watch TV without turning on the whole system. Everytime I would select TV to control, it would turn on the DC-1 because selecting any input to the DC-1 automatically switches it ON.

Has anyone used the new Sony RM-AV2000?
This looks excellant for the money.

Thanks,
Adam
