Subwoofer levels: How do you do it?

I recommend that you set the DC-1 for 0dB on the sub setup menu and adjust the gain control on the sub to match the volume level of your other speakers. This way you maximize the adjustment range of the DC-1 sub output control.

If the sub can't adjust for the proper level then you need to try and adjust with the DC-1 also. If the sub can't be adjusted low enough then consider an external attenuator (voltage divider). Hopefully the sub won't be to low to match your other speakers.
