AC-3 Lock On Problems

Hi All,I just purchased a new DC-1 and it sounds GREAT! But, I've noticed a problem with AC-3 DVD playback. On some
(not all) DVD's it will suddenly loose the AC-3 5.1 signal and bounce to analog
(or some other mode) and then a couple of seconds later return to AC-3 and continue playing normally. I'm using Logic 7 modes for AC-3, DTS and Prologic. I've tried both digital coax inputs and it does the same thing. It does NOT happen at exactly the same points on a DVD, and not at all on some.
When it starts it will usually start bouncing back and forth every 30 seconds
to a minute. When I set the input to "Fixed on Ac-3" (instead of AUTO detection) it works fine. Problem is I want to keep AUTO turned on to help my wife being able to play DTS, AC-3 and Prologic without MANUALLY changing settings! (Note: NO problem yet encountered with DTS LD's or DVD's).
