When all are evenly matched, then I use the DC-1 output control to get the conglomerate to the right spl. That sounds like the ideal method if you have all your sub-woofers connected to the same output, but don't you have them configured in different ways ie. one connected to the centre output? If so it's going to get a little more complex.
