Controlling system power-on, and Effects memory

Posted by Noah Katz [IP: 192.68.162.164] on November 30, 1998 at 16:35:08:

1) I was chagrined to discover the DC-1 has no switched AC receptacle on the back. How do I use it to control my Adcom power conditioner/switcher? Looks like another job for a Marantz macro.

2) Can only two sets (the defaults, plus one custom) of parameter adjustments for each efferct be retained?

What if I want three different flavors of music surround for different types of music or recordings?

If I associate an effect with a given input, are the parameters remembered for that input or are they just the ones from the last time that effect was called up and adjusted?

Thanks

Noah
