Best universal remote to use w/DC-1? Actually, Madrigal and Microsoft have the same thing. The remote, called the IRIQ, was developed together as a joint project of Harman International (Madrigal, Lex, Proceed, etc), Madrigal and Microsoft. It's HUGE! Almost the side of an Apple Newton MessagePad if you remember them. And the biggest problem with it, and similar problem with the Philips is that you have to look at it. At least with the IRIQ the volume buttons are real and there is a neat roller which can be used to surf channels where the Philips has no real buttons. I acutally ALSO recently bought a SL-9000 too and trying to cope with the remote source switching...more because sometimes I need to access certain functions without mode switching and less the reason Adam pointed out since I listen to everything through the sound system. Any other good ideas for the 9000? At almost half the price, weight and rumored battery consumption of the RC-2000, I'm willing to compromise a little. :)
