Speaker Pop

Your last name sounds familiar. You wouldn't be my cousin Jeff's brother in here in Virginia would you? Small world, odd place to meet, etc.,etc. I'd say that the DC-1 must be the predominant Preamp/processor in the Garrenton clan. I'm glad to see that the genes held up well on that side of the family.;-)

I don't know what to say about your popping sound. I take it that you used the Citation 7.0 to switch your amps before? I use my DC-1 to trigger a Panamax 1000 surge protector with delayed On/Off for the outlets for my amps. Never had a pop. Just shooting in the dark, I know that the DC-1 can output a 12V or a 5V trigger, and I assume you're triggering the Citation amp directly, but are you using the correct voltage for the Citation amps?
