Robert-

Couple things:

1. Would it be even possible to hear digital jitter, or "vibration" through a $500.00 speaker system after a person spent $2,500 for a great CD/Pre amp combo? Meaning that they only spent the $500.00 because they could not afford more than that now that they had spent so much for their CD/Pre amp.

2.Do you not think that it would be more wise to put the $2,500 into the speaker system, and only $500 into a CD/integrated amp since (in the real world) what you will be hearing is the speakers, not the CD.

3. Does the majority of the public (unlike you) at this time really know what digital jitter is, and secondly, (and more importantly) know what to listen for in order to recognize what digital jitter sounds like?
