The transition from Logic 7 to DD is silent on my system. I am using a Sony 7000 digital coax out to the DC-1.

The high freq burst on DTS is caused by a lack of a flag bit so the processor has to determine what format the audio data is. This can be stopped by forcing DTS mode in setup.
