Hi Dave

Welcome to the Forum!!

Just curious. The elegant (IMHO) and workable solution given the DC-1's flexibility in allowing different inputs to be assigned different rear-panel connections solution seems workable and would remove that digital spit (which I can't stand, BTW; I hate it as much as I dislike that loud CLICK when my LDD-1 latches on to an AC-3 RF signal from my player).

Why don't you like it? It doesn't require any physical re-routing, just a couple of minutes with the remote and just selecting that input when listening to DTS stuff. I assume, from the fact that you have DTS and paid for the upgrade, that DTS is listened to a fair bit (~20% of all time spent with the DC-1) in your system. If so, having an input labelled and configured for DTS sounds like a good idea even if it wasn't a workaround for this artifact thing.

Daniel Long (fan of DC-1; just can't stand the limited Xover freqs.)
