Since you are only sending a "signal" charge to turn the amps, on you really don't have to be concerned that you using "Rat Shack" parts on a $4,500.00 processor and expensive amps - your sound will not be affected. I would suggest that once you have done this you be very careful in checking the operation of the trigger AT A LOW VOLUME. As I said, I made one of these trigger connections to hook up to my Citation amps (i.e. 1st amp is triggered from the DC-1 and following amps are triggered, successively, from the preceeding amp) and found that the internal delay of the amp coming on was slightly shorter than the internal delay of the DC-1 which produced a "tweater buster" popping sound. In reverse this can also happen when you shut the units off -i.e. the DC-1 goes off before the amp. producing a second popping noise through your speakers. I checked with Lexicon on this problem and it could not be so
