Based on the current price point, yes. (Though I would use the word competetive, not equivalent.) But George said $4K. The Sunfire Theater Grand is the only pre/pro I'm aware of that may be competitive with the DC-1 that is priced well below $5K. Of course it's hard to say when it hasn't been released yet.

So I'm still waiting to hear why the DC-1 would have to be priced at $4K to be competetive.
