I misunderstood the CasaNova at first, it is a FULL card cage unit. It can be nicely equipped for around $4100.00 list. They are selling list for a while because they have 200 on back order. Circle Surround is an additional option. No 7.1 though. But they could add it in the future or anything else for that matter.

The Sunfire is only $3k and is more loaded than a DC-1 (except Lexicon's level of music surround). It has 7.1. Not sure where it stands on 24/96.

561 Has the Lexicon level of surround, 24/96 and can do 7.1 if you buy at least 2 digital surrounds speakers.

AVP will be 7.1, 24/96, RS-232 upgradable full analog path and descrete preamp. I had one at home for few days and it's DTS sounded nicer than the DC-1 IMHO. It's few music surrounds were ok but not Lexicon/Meridian level yet.
AVP claims can can receive data faster than a DVD can deliver.
