It is equally difficult to imagine Lexicon discontinuing the DC-1 if, as we have been told, more updates/upgrades for the DC-1 will be introduced in early 1999. One possibility would seem to be that Lexicion would introduce a Lexicon "Elite" -or some such designation- which would incorporate both upgrades (some of which may also be offered to DC-1 owners) and, supposedly, premium hardware and software all of which at a different price point - I just can't believe any manufacturer would interrupt what would seem to be a continuing successful run with the DC-1 by offering the public a "superior" processor at the same price.
