I do understand what you are saying but continue to believe that most consumers (new and existing) are not going easily accept the idea of Lexicon essentially shelving the DC-1 or, alternatively, substantially increasing the monetary anty, for, to some extent, "vaporware" features added to the same basic processor. Does anyone remember buying equipment AFTER we were certain what programming sources were going to be available rather than chasing those sources with source ready equipment? It seems to me, to some extent, that we encourage unfounded manufacturer "hype" and speculation because of our willingness to buy format ready equipment without the source material to go with it. I don't know what your experience has been with DTS CDs but it impresses me that, after at least 18 months of relatively high profile DTS CD hype, there are only two listed retailers of these CDs in New York State and the one I have been able to contact has to special order upon request. It may make sense to lean in favor of a card
