Isn't that what DTS CDs are and have they proven to be worth it, given the limited catalog available and the effort necessary to obtain them? They are sort of like HDCDs and for which I had to have an outboard DA converter that could pass the HDCD signal based on the promise that this was going to be a viable and accessible format- so far I have found 2 titles that had possibilities and I must say, especially with the Pacific requirement of a 6db attenuation, don't sound that good anyway. Don't misunderstand me, I continue to believe that half of the fun is being as close to the cutting edge as you can get -as long as you don't actually get cut and at $5,000 to $8,000 per cut, the healing process isn't what it used to be.
