What will I notice?

Using Mozilla/4.08 [en] (Win98; I ;Nav):

I am currently running a Denon 5600 receiver (THX5.1) into a full set of Atlantic 350THX speakers. I've noticed that there a many good deals showing up for used DC-1s.

Basic question: If I swap out my Denon for the DC-1 and a reasonable 5-channel amp, what will I notice? Are we talking a magnitude of an order difference or something subtle? Is it really worth the cost?

I live in a small town that doesn't have any dealers for Lexicon so auditioning is out...
